“Nursultan – 2009” alpiniad to gather healthy lifestyle followers

ALMATY. June 23. KAZINFORM /Daniyar Sikhimbayev/ "Alpiniad "Nursultan - 2009" will be held near Almaty on July 5, 2009", Vice President of the Kazakh National Olympic Committee Pavel Novikov has said today at the press conference.
The organizers are the Akimat and the National Olympic Committee. According to P.Novikov, the alpiniad on "the Presidential rout" will be aimed at preparation of the search and rescue services of Almaty to the VII Winter Asian Games and promotion of the healthy life style among the population.
Everyone can take part in the alpiniad. The program will be divided into two parts - the mass climbing rout and the speedy round rout. Winners will be awarded the National Olympic Committee's certificates and prizes, all participants will receive "Nursultan - 2009" certificates.
