Nur Otan Party successfully chaired ICAPP

ASTANA. February 9. KAZINFORM The XIII congress of Nur Otan People's Democratic Party is to be held on February 11. And the first guests have already begun to arrive.

Chairman of the International Conference of Asian Political Parties (ICAPP) Jose de Venecia is among them. Today, on the eve of the congress, he has met with First Deputy Chairman of Nur Otan Party Nurlan Nigmatullin; the Party's press service reports.

Last year Nur Otan Party presided over this Asian authoritative organization, development of which is characterized by permanent increase in the number of its members. Nowadays the organization consists of 318 political parties from 52 countries of the world.

Mr. Jose de Venecia thanked Nurlan Nigmatullin for successful chairmanship, work which Nur Otan Party carries out on development of cooperation, mutual understanding and confidence between the Asian states by deepening contacts between political parties.

First Deputy Chairman of Nur Otan Party Nurlan Nigmatullin highlighted that owing to the balanced policy of President, Leader of the Nation Nursultan Nazarbayev Kazakhstan strengthens its positions in international arena year by year.

Jose de Venecia, in his turn, noted the important role of our country headed by the President in promotion of the ideas of tolerance, interethnic peace and interfaith concord.
