?Nur Otan? Party, leading Austrian parties interested in coop

ASTANA. February 11. KAZINFORM A meeting of Deputy Chairman of ?Nur Otan? National Democratic Party Darkhan Kaletayev with Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Austria to Kazakhstan Ursula Fahringer was held Tuesday in the office of the Party, Kazinform reports.
Within the meeting D.Kaletayev informed the guest about the activity of the Party, purposes and objectives, set forth by the President.
Issues of external contacts of the Party were discussed at the meeting. Party?s contacts with leading parties of over 25 countries, political organizations of Europe and Asia allow to study and adopt international experience, discuss global socio-political problems.
U.Fahringer stressed the importance of political stability, ethnic harmony in Central Asia and important role of Kazakhstan in this field. Besides, the Ambassador noted that Austria is interested in expanding contacts with Kazakhstan in political and economic spheres, especially in light of upcoming Kazakhstan?s OSCE chairmanship in 2010.
The sides expressed interest in establishing closer cooperation between ?Nur Otan? Party and leading parties of Austria. Agreement on involving research and analysis structures in this work was achieved.
