Number of people willing to get Kazakh citizenship growing: Secretary of State Tazhin

ASTANA. May 6. KAZINFORM Each year the number of those willing to become citizens of Kazakhstan is growing.
"The number of people who wants to become naturalized Kazakh citizens is growing each year," Secretary of State Marat Tazhin stated at the session of the Commission on Citizenship under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
"This figure is on the rise. At today's session we are going to review 238 applications for naturalization. These will be submitted for signature of Head of State Nursultan Nazarbayev. The applications are mainly from ethnic Kazakhs residing abroad and from representatives of other nationalities," M. Tazhin said.
The session will also consider applications on withdrawal from citizenship.
