Number of Internet users in Kazakhstan reaches 12 mln

ASTANA. KAZINFORM - The number of Internet users in Kazakhstan has reached 12 million people, this has been announced at today's Global Forum of e-government by Minister for Investment and Development Asset Issekeshev.
"The Government is actively working to improve computer literacy of our population. At the present time the level of computer literacy among the population reaches almost 63%, the number of Internet users - 12 million which accounts for 70% of Kazakhstan's population," said Aset Issekeshev.
