Number of corruption-related crimes is up in Astana

ASTANA. July 4. KAZINFORM "The number of corruption-related crimes in Astana reviewed by the court has grown by almost half during the first six months of 2013," admits the Presiding Judge of the municipal court Saken Abdullayev.
In his words, during the first half of 2013 the Astana court received 37 and handled 30 cases on corruption-related crimes.
"If compared to the same period of 2012, the number of such crimes has almost doubled. For instance, 13 out of 17 cases were handled during the first six months of the last year," he said.
