Nuclear Weapons-Free Forum participants to survey cancer detection centre

MEY. October 13. KAZINFORM /Lyudmila Malko/ Today the participants of the Nuclear Weapons-Free Forum are expected at the Semey regional oncological dispensary. The high guests will survey the radiology centre construction progress.
Besides, they will visit radiation medicine and ecology research centre that actively cooperates with scientific centers of England, Japan, Germany and Russia.
The second working day of the international forum will end with a meeting devoted to the 20th anniversary of closing the Semipalatinsk nuclear testing range and unveiling of Stela of the World - a mirror reflection of the world-famous Stronger than Death monument.
