WASHINGTON. April 14. KAZINFORM /Muratbek Makulbekov/ President Nursultan Nazarbayev answered the journalists questions at a briefing following the second session of the Global Nuclear Security Summit that was held at the Washington Congress Center.
"The Nuclear Security Summit focused primarily on the measures which must be taken by the world in order to prevent nuclear terrorism. The participants discussed a wide array of issues concerning the technical measures and major directions of the world community's work on ensuring control over nuclear weapons. Today the terrorists act asymmetrically. They have no legal field, they use world communication, and they can establish organizations and dissolve them. In turn, the world community has no single parameters, single organization and document to use in its fight with terrorism. Therefore, I find this Summit quite important", the Kazakh President said.
