No proper federal space program fulfillment without Baikonur space center, Vitaly Davydov

MOSCOW. August 31. KAZINFORM /Narymbek Ismagulov/ Human resources problem is set today as the first priority on the way of dynamic space development, Secretary of State - Deputy Head of the Federal Space Agency Vitaly Davydov told today during the "Moscow-Astana" live link-up on "Emergency situations of modern space exploration: future forecasts".
According to Davydov, in order to preserve and develop this direction we need three key elements such as ground infrastructure - a space centre, launch vehicles and the industry able to create those facilities, and space vehicles control facilities. Such an approach will let Russia preserve its leading positions in space exploration under the hard economic conditions of the previous years.
The success we enjoy today in Russia we rightly share with our Kazakhstani colleagues. It would be impossible to date to fulfill the federal space program to the utmost without Baikonur space centre and our colleagues who help realize the Russian space program, he resumed.
