"The institute focuses on studying radiation effects. We cannot say exactly whether the people of Kalachi village were affected by radiation influence or not. We have found nothing performing tests with spectrometer. But there are lots of various analyses to be done such as blood and urine tests. It is a time consuming process. What can we say today is that there are no gamma-emitting radionuclides. The tests results will be sent later to the commission set up to determine the cause of the sleepy sickness of Kalachi village," he added.
