Nine families with disabled children assisted from the Day of Astana funds

ASTANA. July 12. KAZINFORM - Astana hosted in the Akim's office a traditional annual charity event for awarding cash vouchers to families raising children with disabilities.

These funds have been collected from the sale of tickets for celebration activities, holding charity events during the Day of Astana. This year, the Commission divided the funds collected among nine families, which have children with disabilities, and they will then be able to go to treatment or to undergo rehabilitation.

"We thank Astana residents and its guests, who have come to our events and concerts organized in the framework of the Day of the city. After all, that was not just going to a concert, but now it helped light a spark of hope in the hearts of these children with disabilities and their parents, " said the head of the department of employment and social programs Astana Alma Altybaeva.

This action has been carried out since 2008 on the initiative of Astana administration. This year, the Day of the capital raised KZT 7.5 million.
