NGOs implement about 30 socially important projects - Zhambyl oblast

ZHAMBYL OBLAST. June 5. KAZINFORM /Galina Skripnik/ Around 30 socially important projects worth KZT 45 mln are implemented by non-governmental organizations in Zhambyl oblast this year, Internal Policy Department of the regional Akimat informs.
According to Chief of the Department Rakhiya Turmakhanbetova, the projects relate primarily to such spheres as raising the people's legal literacy, prevention of crimes connected with human trafficking, propagation and promotion of the state language, popularization of historical-cultural heritage of the country etc.
"Real participation of the government in maintaining the best projects of the NGOs proves that the state is interested in consolidation of non-governmental structures and deepening the process of democratic reforms in all spheres of society", Chairman of the Association of entities "Civil Alliance of Zhambyl region" Nurlan Kanatov noted.
