Newborns evacuated as perinatal center catches fire in Kokshetau

ASTANA. KAZINFORM - A perinatal center has caught fire in Kokshetau, the Akmola region emergencies department reports.
According to reports, the blaze engulfed maternal child unit on the third floor. Rescuers evacuated 72 people, including 37 newborns. Firefighters summoned to the scene put out the fire. There was no immediate word on the casualties.
