Newborn baby boy found in garbage can in Astana

ASTANA. August 23. KAZINFORM Astana police are investigating the discovery of a newborn found alive in a trash can in one of the districts of the city and searching for baby's mother who trashed him.
A resident of Astana city reportedly found the newborn boy screaming inside the garbage can Thursday night. The man was tossing out the garbage, when he heard a strange noise coming from a red plastic bag in the trash can. When he unwrapped the bag, he saw the newborn and decided to take him home and call the police and ambulance.
Emergency crew took the newborn boy to a local hospital. The police haven't located his mother yet.
