New UN resolution on NKorea to contain sanctions

MOSCOW. May 27. KAZINFORM The new UN resolution on North Korea will contain sanctions, a source at the Russian Foreign Ministry told Itar-Tass on Wednesday; Kazinform refers to ITAR-TASS.
"The resolution is likely to be sanction-like," the diplomat said, "strenuous work is underway at the UN Security Council."
On May 25, 2009, North Korea officially announced a second nuclear test.
On October 9, 2006, North Korea announced the first nuclear test, which it said was successful; Kazinform cites ITAR-TASS.
