New 'Tarlan' ice arena unveiled in Astana

ASTANA. July 12. KAZINFORM The opening ceremony of the new "Tarlan" ice arena has been held in the Kazakh capital - Astana today.
The new arena was designed and constructed as a training complex for professional, semi-professional and amateur hockey teams and figure skaters.
"The new arena is quite minimalistic, both in terms of space and technologies. The new sports facility was designed based on the Austrian green technologies," said representative of the Kaspi Sports Development Fund Gaziz Shakhanov of the newly unveiled arena.
The sports facility was built in Astana on the initiative of the Kaspi Sports Development Fund and with financial support from KazRosGas Ltd.
