New structure of aviation authorities will be in Kazakhstan - Transport and Communication Ministry

It has been announced by the Minister of Transport and Communications of Kazakhstan Askar Zhumagaliyev at the Government Hour in the Majilis.

"To address the shortage of specialists to ensure the safety, low wages, low qualification and status of aviation inspectors, this year there will be a new structure of the aviation authorities. To do this within the authorized strength of the staff of the Ministry of Civil Aviation Committee will increase by 65 people, including 80 percent of aviation specialists, and the number of inspectors will be equal to 40 people. Salary of inspectors will grow", said A.Zhumagaliev.

The minister also said that the Academy of Civil Aviation plans to open a training center for the ICAO Aviation Security Training Centre and the united training centre of professional development for the industry.
