"We fully support the projects and new system of social services suggested by President Nazarbayev. Taldykorgan has everything in place and is ready to implement the said projects. A coordination board for cooperation and interaction with non-governmental organizations has been set up under the city's administration for that purpose," Mr. Alpyssov noted. "Visually impaired resident of Taldykorgan city Askar Ualiev has been elected the member of the board. He will be responsible for the issues related to disabled people. Hopefully, this move will improve the quality of life of these people," the mayor added. According to him, 60 disabled people were employed in Taldykorgan in 2013. 20 disabled people were retrained or upgraded their qualifications the same year. We also take good care of the participants and veterans of the World War II. We will continue to work in that direction given that the new address places special emphasis on that problem," Ermek Alpyssov stressed.
