New ski resort opened in outskirts of Bishkek

Opening of the Kashkulak ski resort took place on Saturday, Kabar reports.
The base is located in the picturesque area of Kashka-Suu of Chui region.
The Kashkulak ski resort leases 105 hectares of pasture land.
There is one cable line 950 meters long on the territory, providing access to the ski slopes.
Visitors have two ski runs at their disposal: the first is 1,600 meters long on the western side and the second is 1,550 meters long on the eastern side. The base has a high throughput capacity - up to 2000 people per hour.
24/7 skiing is also possible thanks to night lighting and snow generators.
Currently, there are 15 ski resorts in Chui region.
