New president of Kazakhstan Boxing Federation elected
New president of the Kazakhstan Boxing Federation Shakhmurat Mutalip was elected at the annual conference in Astana on Monday, Kazinform News Agency reports.
Mutalip will replace former president of the federation Kenes Rakishev who stepped down from the job.
Aside from electing its new president, the Kazakhstan Boxing Federation summed up results of the previous year, as well as heard reports of head coaches of both male and female national teams.
In his remarks at the conference, the newly-elected president stressed the importance of joint work towards achieving the goals set before the federation, adding he is committed to those goals.
Born in 1990 Shakhmurat Mutalip hails from Almaty region. He holds a Master’s degree from the Asia Pacific University of Technology and Innovation in Kuala Lumpur. He is an entrepreneur and owner of Integra Construction KZ LLP.
