New plant launched in Park of Innovative Technologies
According to the information of the Agency, "Alpha network" company plans to establish a number of productions in the territory of special economic zone "Park of Innovative Technologies". The opened plant will become the first of many and it will produce passive optical components - splitters, patching cord, distributing frames, etc. Currently, such equipment is produced only in South Korea and Taiwan.
"Alpha network" company became a participant of special economic zone "Park of Innovative Technologies" in March of this year. "Alpha network" is a modern Kazakh-Korean enterprise established with the association of LS Company which is one the world leaders in the sphere of production of equipment for fibre-optic communication lines.
In accordance with the information, the LS Company was attracted by the preferences - corporate income tax and property tax is set at the level of 0%. There is also exemption from import and export customs duties. There are no trade barriers, limitations regarding the share of foreign property, the representatives of the Company told.
As earlier reported, the special economic zone was established in 2003. The territory makes 163.02 ha now. It is planned to create innovative cluster uniting scientific and educational, design and construction and industrial structures in priority spheres of the economy in the territory of the zone. The cluster is intended to be created based on the following principle: education - science - technology - production.
