New Nazarbayev Intellectual school opens doors in Aktobe

AKTOBE. February 25. KAZINFORM The Nazarbayev Intellectual School of Physics and Mathematics was opened in Aktobe on Monday. This is the tenth intellectual school launched under the auspices of President Nazarbayev.

"We set high hopes on the realization of this unique project," governor of the region Arkhimed Mukhambetov told the students at the opening ceremony. "Education is our major national reserve. Today we need manpower in the field of high technologies and knowledge intensive production."

In addition, the governor expressed confidence the new school would be a credit to the regional system of education and serve as a model for other schools. Mr. Mukhambetov wished students to live up to Nursultan Nazarbayev's expectations.

Chairperson of AEO "Nazarbayev Intellectual Schools" Kulyash Shamshidinova also congratulated those present on the opening of the new school.

The Nazarbayev intellectual school in Aktobe for 720 students has 59 classrooms and a dormitory for 120 seats. It prides on having state-of-the-art equipment, laboratories of robotics, nano- and biotechnologies, etc.
