New Kazakh Vice Minister of Emergencies appointed

Serik Tulenbergenov has been appointed the Vice Minister of Emergencies, Kazinform News Agency has learnt from the government’s press service.
Born in 1974 in Semipalatinsk region, Serik Tulenbergenov is a graduate of the Kazakh-American University and the Amanzholov East Kazakhstan State University.
Throughout his career Serik Tulenbergenov worked in the regional administration of East Kazakhstan region and served as deputy akim (mayor) of Ridder town.
He also was the advisor to the Chairman of the Board of the Baiterek National Managing Holding between 2019 and 2020.
Prior to the recent appointment he has headed the energy and housing utilities department of Abai region since October 2023.
