New Kazakh TV channel and radio to be launched soon - A. Zhumagaliyev

ASTANA. January 10. KAZINFORM /Kanat Kulshmanov/ As earlier reported, the Ministry of Communications and Information of Kazakhstan has held today a sitting of its board which focused on the results of the year 2010 and the objectives for the current year.
According to Minister Askar Zhumagaliyev, a new radio entitled Madeniet (Culture) is planned be launched on the ground of Khabar and Kazakhstan TV stations in March 2011.
"Then, in September 2011 we plan to launch Madeniet TV channel also on the ground of Kazakhstan TV station", he added.
"The new channel will broadcast in the Kazakh language only", the Minister clarified.
