New head of Artificial Intelligence and Innovation Development Committee appointed
Gizzat Baiturssynov has been appointed head of the Artificial Intelligence and Innovation Development Committee under the Ministry of Digital Development, Innovation, and Aerospace Industry, Kazinform News Agency reports.
Baiturssynov holds a degree from Asia Pacific University of Technology & Innovation (APU) in Malaysia and a law degree from the Eurasian Law Academy named after D.A.Kunayev.
He commenced his career as a programmer in a private company. In 2019, he took part in the Youth Internship Program at the Department of Electronic Industry Development of the ministry. From 2020 to 2023, he held the positions of expert, chief expert, head of Department and Deputy Director of the Department of Electronic Industry Development and Digital Asset Industry of the ministry.
From 2023 till present, he has served as the Director of E-Industry and Digital Asset Industry Development at the ministry.
