New employment program to cover 1.5 mln people in five years: PM

ASTANA. February 3. KAZINFORM /Kanat Kulshmanov/ The new employment program of the Kazakh Ministry of Labor and Social Protection is expected to cover about 1.5 mln Kazakh people in the next five years. Kazakh Prime Minister Karim Massimov has made it public today at the collegium of the Ministry.
According to him, the Government plans to address the issue of self-employed people through the program.
According to the data of the Ministry, the number of self-employed people in Kazakhstan was 2.7 mln last year.
As earlier reported, the Government plans to launch the program in the pilot regime this year.
