New Deputy Minister of Kazakh Foreign Affairs named

By an order of the Head of State, Alibek Kuantyrov, has been appointed Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Kazinform News Agency cites Akorda.

By another order of the Head of State, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Nazira Nurbayeva, has been relieved of her duties.

Alibek Kuantyrov was born in 1983 in Atyrau. He graduated from Tomsk State University and Michigan University.

He began his career in 2005 as acting leading specialist in the Ministry of Economy and Budget Planning of the Republic of Kazakhstan. 

In 2005-2010, he worked in various positions at the Ministry of Economy and Budget Planning of the Republic of Kazakhstan. 

In 2010-2013, he served as Deputy Director of the Department of Budget Planning and Forecasting of the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Kazakhstan. 

In 2013, Kuantyrov worked as Deputy Chairman of the Committee for Geology and Subsoil Use of the Ministry of Industry and New Technologies of the Republic of Kazakhstan. 

In 2013-2019, he worked in various positions in the Administration of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

From April 2019 till present he worked as Deputy Head of the Department of Information and Analytical Support of the Office of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

From January 2022 till February 2024 he worked as the Minister of National Economy of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
