New dance troupe “AstanaBallet” to be presented in the capital

At the same time, with the purpose of dynamic development of Kazakh culture and art, a need has escalated in creation of a new group adhering to the best raditions of the world national choreography art, as it is reported by the media group of the organizational committee on preparation and holding of the 15th anniversary of the capital.

AstanaBallet is created as an image project able to present Kazakh national dance art in the world. Its cast involves graduates of Almaty choreographic college named after A.Seleznev. The founder of the troupe is “The Fund of culture, education and social programs of N.Nazarbayev”. The main task of the company is to find and create new dance repertoire, meeting modern trends of the world art and at the same time having bright national distinctive character.

On July 1, presentation concert of the AstanaBallet will take place in the Palace of Peace and Reconciliation. The program will present dancing performances reflecting the best traditions of dancing of nations, and famous examples of Russian and foreign classics.

The process of preparation of this presentation concert involved the best national and foreign specialists in the sphere of choreography art, and famous master in staging of spectacular performances.
