New concept of electric power industry long term development presented

ASTANA. March 13. KAZINFORM Today at the government meeting Kazakh Minister of Industry and New Technologies Aset Issekeshev presented a new concept of electric power industry development till 2020 with the perspective to 2030.
According to him, this concept provides for increase in coal production up to 150 million tons a year, annual electricity generation up to 150.2 billion kW/h. Due to the measures set in the concept energy consumption will reach 144.7 billion kW/h in 2030.
