New Chairman of Board of Directors of KMG elected

ASTANA. KAZINFORM - First Deputy Chairman of the Board of KazMunaiGaz National Company Christopher Simon Hopkinson has been elected Chairman of the Board of Directors of KazMunaiGaz Exploration Production JSC and head of the nomination committee of KazMunaiGaz Exploration Production Company at the recent sitting of the Board of Directors.
The term of the board of directors of KazMunaiGaz Exploration Production JSC expires on April 13, 2015. C. Hopkinson has been working in the oil and gas sector since 1980. Before joining KazMunaiGaz Exploration Production JSC he had occupied a position of a general director at International Petroleum, a position of a general director at Imperial Energy and a post of the senior vice president of North Africa at BG Group. He also worked at Shell and TNK-BP companies.
