New Astana Opera and Ballet Theater to be unveiled in late June

ASTANA. June 6. KAZINFORM The opening ceremony of a new "Astana Opera" Opera and Ballet Theater will take place in Astana this June.
Today Astana authorities responsible for the preparations for the 15th anniversary of the Kazakh capital have announced the 1.250-seat opera and ballet theater will be unveiled in late June.
"Birzhan and Sara" opera by an outstanding Kazakh composer Mukan Tulebayev was the first choice of the production that will be staged by Astana Opera.
The newest production starring Nurzhamal Ussenbayeva and Akhmed Agadi will be directed by Yuri Alexandrov. This is a love story of songster Birzhan sala and gifted poetess Sara.
