New Akim of Karaganda rgn appointed

ASTANA. KAZINFORM - Nurmukhambet Abdibekov appointed Akim (Mayor) of Karaganda region.
Previously N.Abdibekov held the post of first deputy head of the Aktobe region. He replaced Baurzhan Abdishev as the new Akim of Karaganda region. The new head of the region was introduced by the head of the Presidential Administration Nurlan Nigmatulin. Nurmukhambet Abdibekov, aged 53, originally hails from the town of Arkalyk, Kostanay region. He graduated from the Moscow Mining Institute, PhD.
