Nepalese military to attend Steppe Eagle 2015 maneuvers

ASTANA. KAZINFORM The Kazakh delegation visiting the Nepal Army Birendra Peace Operations Training Centre (BPOTC) met with Chief of General Staff of Nepal Lieutenant General Pradeep Bikram Rana and head of the peace operations department brigadier general Pyar Jung Thapa, the Kazakh Defence Ministry's press service said.
The Nepal military reps expressed readiness to participate in training of peace-making contingent of the Kazakh Armed Forces. The Kazakh side invited Nepalese military to take part in Steppe Eagle 2015 international special tactical peacekeeping exercises. Nepal Army Birendra Peace Operations Training Centre (BPOTC) is a renowned training institute of Nepal which is dedicated for providing training to all Nepalese Army personnel participating in various UNPKO. BPOTC is located at Panchkhal which is 45 km East of Kathmandu and lies 942 meters above mean sea level.
