Main instrument of scientific research in the laboratory is an analytical scanning electron microscope equipped with X-ray microanalysis system.

Laboratory scientists published 68 scientific papers and articles, among them 15 in foreign journals, published two books, received four innovative patents of Kazakhstan, defended two doctoral and 14 master's theses.
