Nearly 40,000 people attended City of Vocational Professions festival in Astana
From February 11 to 15, the capital of Kazakhstan hosted The City of Vocational Professions republican festival in the EXPO-2017 building, Kazinform News Agency reports.
Organized by the Ministry of Education, the event brought together almost 40,000 visitors.
Among the guests are the ministers, senators, majilismen, heads of national companies and large enterprises, as well as experts and representatives of various sectors of economy.
“Our most important guests are children, who could immerse themselves in the atmosphere of working professions and discover new opportunities,” the ministry says.
The Youth Forum of Vocational Professions will continue in the regions.
Earlier, it was reported that President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev attended the City of Vocational Professions festival.
The Head of State declared year 2025 the Year of Vocational Professions in his state-of-the-nation address to the people of Kazakhstan.
