Nearly 300 thousand women in Kazakhstan unemployed

ASTANA. April 2. KAZINFORM Currently, 286 thousand women in Kazakhstan are unemployed, Minister of Labor and Social Protection Serik Abdenov told journalists on Tuesday.
In his words, 7.5% of workless women are in their 60s.
"137 thousand out of 190 thousand working pensioners in Kazakhstan are females," Minister Abdenov added.
According to the Minister of Labor and Social Protection, 500 thousand jobs are to be created until 2020 in order to keep the unemployment rate under projected 5%.
