Nearly 20,000 Kazakhstani students study in Russia

ASTANA. KAZINFORM - Nearly 20 thousand students from Kazakhstan study in Russia, according to Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan Askar Mussinov.
"In total, there are 20 thousand students from Kazakhstan in Russia. They are mainly based in Moscow and Saint Petersburg," Mr. Mussinov said at the meeting of the Senate's committee for international relations, defense and security on Tuesday. Vice Minister Mussinov noted that Russian universities are quite popular among Kazakhstani students because of high quality of education.
