ASTANA. July 3. KAZINFORM Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayev reminded of the necessity to introduce renewable energy sources' technologies.
Speaking at the national TV link-up Nazarbayev said that Germany derives 22 percents of the electric energy from renewable energy sources. And we? Null. Such approaches are changing the paradigm of the economic system as a whole. We're talking about solar power stations. There is no station in Kazakhstan," the Kazakh President said.
"We are forced to do something with our thermal power plants on coal, we are forced not to throw into the steppe carbon dioxide and sulfur gases. We must now think about it!" N. Nazarbayev concluded.
