"Kostanay region is, first of all, 30% of Kazakh grain", says the President. "There is powerful industrial base, automotive industry, and major commodity businesses. The head of state said that this year's harvest is expected to be 16 million tons of grain, and now we need to focus on that cropping.

"The goverment is providing help for that. Looking into the future, the world in the next decade will need more food, demand for it will grow by 50%, as the world's population will be bigger by 2030 (increase by a billion). We need to increase efforts to organize the processing plants. All that is grown on our land should be processed here", said the President.

"This is true not only about grain, oil fields, and ore. If there is recycling, there will be serious increase in economic performance. Now, providing powerful state aid for regions, we are getting ready for future agricultural complex challenge, for great competition in the market ", he stated.
