Nazarbayev urges Government and Parliament to revise national budget

ASTANA. January 27. KAZINFORM /Muratbek Makulbekov/ In his address to the people of Kazakhstan, announced at the joint session of Parliament, President Nursultan Nazarbayev instructed the Government and Parliament to introduce amendments to the national budget.
The President gave a number of instructions to the Government on the implementation of major investment projects. The issue of investing in these projects has not yet been fully solved. Thus, Nursultan Nazarbayev submitted a proposal to the Government and Parliament to revise the budget in order to allocate the necessary funds to implement the above-mentioned projects," Nazarbayev said.
In this regard he noted that it would be better to invest funds of the National Fund of Kazakhstan in the domestic economy than keep them in Western banks.
Nazarbayev stressed that all those projects would completely change the face of the Kazakh economy.
