Nazarbayev urges expansion of religious dialogue through International Center in Astana

ASTANA. June 1. KAZINFORM /Aigul Tulekbayeva/ - President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev states it is important to expand the dialogue of cultures and religions under the aegis of the International Center of Cultures and Religions.
"It is necessary to involve religious mass media, youth organizations, scientific and creative intelligence in it", President says.
"The center must become an intellectual laboratory of peace, accord and justice, to elaborate and promote the proposals of the global agenda. It must become the working structure of the Congress generating new ideas and proposals", he said.
As earlier reported Nursultan Nazarbayev proposed the Congress Secretariat to consider the issue of setting up the Council of Religious leaders for dialogue and cooperation with other forums, international organizations for the purpose of cultural and economic interaction.
