Nazarbayev to attend XXI session of People's Assembly of Kazakhstan

ASTANA. KAZINFORM - The XXI session of the People's Assembly of Kazakhstan is set to be held today with the participation of President Nursultan Nazarbayev.
This year's session is themed "Kazakhstan-2050" Strategy: culture of peace, spirituality and accord". Nearly 400 delegates from all corners of the country are expected to attend the Astana-hosted session. Participants will also meet with MPs on the sidelines of the session and visit main attractions of the Kazakh capital. The People's Assembly of Kazakhstan was created on March 1, 1995 on the initiative of President Nazarbayev. It is an important element of Kazakhstan's political system, uniting all nationalities and ensuring their rights and freedoms.
