Nazarbayev says Kazakhstan's mineral wealth may be greater than expected

The Head of State expressed the idea at a teleconference in Astana on Wednesday. "We had a lot of work to do in terms of geological exploration. As I've said before, Kazakhstan's territory has not been fully explored. We don't know what lies down there. It is up to the foreign companies that we have attracted to explore the untapped mineral deposits and make forecasts. After all, Kazakhstan's mineral wealth may increase severalfold," the Kazakh President said.
