Nazarbayev's visit to Monaco of paramount importance: Evelyn Genta

Ambassador of Monaco to Kazakhstan Evelyn Genta told Kazakh mass media and journalists in Monte Carlo.

"This visit is of paramount importance. Last year Prince Albert II paid the official visit to Kazakhstan and was cordially received. We are happy with the outcome of the bilateral negotiations and the fact that President Nazarbayev accepted our invitation to come and visit Monaco. This is a great honor," Ms. E. Genta said.

In her words, Prince Albert II was hugely impressed with the development of Kazakhstan during his visit to the Central Asian republic. His Serene Highness was especially impressed with the urban development in Astana. "We visited a couple of sports facilities under construction in the Kazakh capital and we were very excited," the Monegasque Ambassador shared the impressions of Astana.

"We also marveled at Almaty and its ecology, because Prince Albert pays utmost attention to the problems of environment," she added.

Hospitality of Kazakh people and national cuisine created a good impression as well, according to the diplomat.
