Nazarbayev received Eurasian Economic Commission Chairman

ASTANA. May 28. KAZINFORM President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev has met with Chairman of the Eurasian Economic Commission Victor Khristenko, the press service of the Akorda reported.

Chairman of the Council of the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC) - Deputy Prime Minister of Kazakhstan Kairat Kelimbetov, members of the EEC Council - First Deputy Chairman of the Government of the Russian Federation Igor Shuvalov and Chairman of the Board of Development Bank of the Republic of Belarus Sergei Rumas also took part in the meeting.

Nursultan Nazarbayev noted the session of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council will be held on May 29. Besides, another two sessions are scheduled this year.

"It is connected with the need to accept all integration documents. In particular, we have agreed to complete the draft agreement on the establishment of the Eurasian Economic Union, which is scheduled to start on 1 January 2015. We have a lot of work to do and need to harmonize various documents on a regular and systematic basis," the Head of State announced.

The President emphasized that positive results of the CU and Eurasian Economic Space activity are evident.
