Nazarbayev & Putin visit Combat Sambo Int'l Tournament

ASTANA-MOSCOW. August 18. KAZINFORM - Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayev and Russian President Vladimir Putin attended the professional Combat Sambo international tournament, the press service of the President of Russia reports.
The contest was organized by "Sambo-70" education center and League S-70. This year, the competition has involved athletes from Russia, Ukraine, Kazakhstan, Latvia, Bulgaria, Austria, Venezuela, United States and South Africa.
Along with Vladimir Putin and Nursultan Nazarbayev the event was visited by Dmitry Medvedev, Prime Minister of the Russian Federation, as well as by the members of "Dynamo" hockey club .
Russian national team became the winner in team opposition, 4-1. Vladimir Putin took part in the awarding ceremony.
