Nazarbayev peace and consent centre in London debated

ASTANA. KAZINFORM Deputy chairman - head of the secretariat of the People's Assembly of Kazakhstan Yeraly Tugzhanov and Professor of the Cambridge University Siddharth-Shankar Saxena debated the Nursultan Nazarbayev peace and consent centre, the Assembly's press service said.

The meeting discussions focused on the Kazakh model of interethnic tolerance and public consent, constitutional status, structure and tasks of the People's Assembly of Kazakhstan, international cooperation. In his turn, Siddharth-Shankar Saxena noted the role and importance of the political will of the Head of State, chairman of the Assembly Nursultan Nazarbayev in ensuring interethnic peace and consent, stressed the importance of the international initiatives of the President of Kazakhstan and holding EXPO 2017. Besides, the parties debated organizational issues of concerning the opening the centre and its presentations, aspects of its work, action plan for the short-term prospects.
