Nazarbayev met with Chair of Sberbank of Russia

ASTANA. May 22. KAZINFORM President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev held a meeting with Chairman of Board,CEO of Sberbank of Russia Herman Gref within the 26th session of the Foreign Investors Council.
Issues of Kazakhstan's banking sector development and results of Kazakhstan's bank subsidiary activity were talked over during the meeting.
Nursultan Nazarbayev said currently Kazakhstan was conducting improvement and enhancement of the country's finance system and expressed confidence that joint efforts would contribute further development of the Kazakhstan's banking sector.
Herman Gref emphasized a favorable investment climate had been established in Kazakhstan since independence and expressed his hope for deepening Bank's activity in Kazakhstan.
