Nazarbayev meets with world leaders on the sidelines of 10th ASEM Meeting

The session was themed Enhancing Dialogue and Cooperation between Europe and Asia and Future Direction of ASEM. President Nazarbayev also had a number of bilateral meetings on the sidelines of the high profile forum. At the meeting with President of South Korea Park Geun-hye, Nazarbayev discussed further development of bilateral cooperation in investment, technological and commercial spheres between the two nations. The sides also touched upon implementation of the agreements reached during Park Geun-hye's recent visit to Kazakhstan. The Kazakh leader and Prime Minister of Japan Shinzo Abe debated bilateral interaction in such fields as economy, technologies and investments. Attention was also paid to key issues on international agenda. Strengthening of bilateral ties between Kazakhstan and China was in the focus of the meeting between President Nazarbayev and Premier of the State Council of the People's Republic of China Li Keqiang.
