Nazarbayev instructs to work out new Business Road Map

ASTANA. January 24. KAZINFORM President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev gave instructions to work out a new Business Road Map ensuring population employment and sustainable economic growth in case of a possible crisis. He gave such instructions to the Government at the session focused on the results of 2012 and the tasks on implementation of the 2050 Strategy in Akorda.

"We must be prepared for a possible global crisis and recession as we were in 2008-2009. The experts forecast a crisis in 2014 and we hope it won't happen. However, we must be prepared. The activities of the Government and the regional governors should be focused on two specific tasks. The first is to ensure population employment amid crisis and sustainable economic growth. All work of state bodies should be focused on implementation of these tasks, all the plans should be based on them," the President said.

"I personally charge the Prime Minister with a task to develop the Road Map similar to the previously implemented one. Calculate how much funds would be necessary, defined financing sources and report me on conducted work in February," the Head of State noted.

"Increasing pace of innovative industrialization is the main aspect of the Strategy that I launched. Industrialization only can help us join the top 30 most developed countries of the world," the President emphasized.
